For their clients they invent and develop materials, patterns, products and interiors – offering new solutions and a twinkle in the eye. Markus Benesch established his practice in Munich, Germany in 1989 and added a temporary office in Milan in 2001, where he holds seminars as visiting professor in various design schools.

Markus Benesch Creates are known as curious artists and specialists in designing, developing and realizing furniture, lighting and a diverse range of products for manufacturers, collectors and institutions in Europe and abroad.
Established in 1998, the studio has constantly continued to invent and develop products, materials and methods. As a result over 130 registered or patented inventions have been successfully licensed to a continuously growing number of manufacturers.
Markus Benesch Creates a special edition of 26 one off pieces of the Volume 8 chair (design: Thomas Starczewski) for Interstuhl. The southern german based company also presented a selection of these unique chairs at the Orgatec, Cologne 2012.
