Matti Klenell – For the past decade, Matti Klenell has worked with commissions for various manufacturers in Europe and Asia. Clients include Iittala, Källemo, Moooi, Bals Tokyo, Muuto, Örsjö, NC and David Design.
Simultaneously, he has developed his own unique language as a glass artist, with several solo exhibitions and public art commissions. Although glass art is a more experimental and investigative medium, with a clearly different focus, the two tracks of his practice have a very beneficial influence on one another.
The depth of his portfolio has created a personal, innovative and new take on the Scandinavian design tradition.
